My Precious: NEW YEAR (2009)

Edward suppose to finish work at 7 but he get's to leave early. So i decided to go down and meet him first then Jess come later but halfway Jess call and say she's at home and ask me wait for her awhile. We make reservation for 8.30 at Fin by Blue Lobster Seafood Cafe and we came like 8.10 and there's only outside table available. We waited for the inside table and makes our order. We waited for like 1 hour for the food, something wrong with the order. Turn out we change table and the lady forget to inform.

After dinner, we have to walk all the way to Esplanades and i make a mistake by wearing a thick wool type dress and high heels. Everywhere are packed with people waiting for the fireworks.

Infront of Marina Square and it's only around 10 something...

We had to walk through all the crowd to reach the bridge at Esplanades area and it's so packed with people walking and sitting and waiting. We decided to sit and wait also.

I had to sit at Edward lap cos i was wearing dress and it's so hot again...

We waited for like 1 hour plus... and sweating profusely

At last the fireworks display. We sitted and waited for so long and once we stand up all this behind people rushes to the front. So unfair.

I never seen firework so near before. It's like right infront of my eyes only

After the firework display, everybody rushing to leave. We were walking slowly and stuck in the jam and this people from behind keep pushing Edward and i end up pushing Jess also. Jess keep stepping on my feet and i had to walk barefoot after that cos it's bleeding. The funny part, Edward say someone touches his butt and it' a guy again.

We went to Suntec to wait for taxi. Everybody was also doing the same. End up we waited for like 1 hour and we had to call for taxi. We make like so many phone calls to so many different companies. Reach home finally and sweaty.

For New Year, we stay at home the whole day cos we wake up around 3 something and we have to work the next day again...

Back to work as usual on 2nd of Jan. We went to Thai Express to have our dinner cos Jess wanted to go to Junction 8 to see got what else in there.

Saturday, Edward's working at 12. So i went home and watch the Note Book which is so nice and touching. Cried few time watching it. Nice movie and it's a great love story. It was actually based on a book written by Nicholas Spark.

After watching and bored, i decided to go to Orchard and had a walk. Saw there's a pillow promotion. I bought a pillow, pillowcase and house slipper and went to look for Edward after that cos so many things to carry home.

We even had ice cream later on. Edward decided to take cab home cos we had so many things with us.

Sunday, we went to view house at Yishun which is quite far. The house is nice and clean. Very comfortable and airy and the rentals abit high and we almost decided to had that then we did alot of thinking and realise it's not so great and we almost been duped to pay so much. Spent almost 2 hours talking and discussing with the agents and owners.

On the way home, we bought Jess her present MP4. Edward's idea to get that for her.

We decided to go to Plaza Singapura to had dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market and we took bus from Yishun to go there and it takes almost and hour to reach.

We had garlic butter mussel
