Puppies

Alot of things happen between this few months. Been a long long time since i have time to write and actually i totally forget i actually have this blog until a seller whom i bought 2 Free Willy CD's send me an email and reminded me. I'm now back in Labuan, the lovely little island. Much things have change. Quit my job back in April in Lightstyle. Couldn't stand my employer. Traveling back and forth between Labuan and Singapore for the past 4 months. Couldn't keep track how many times i been going back Singapore since Edward is still working in there. We officially returned on 6th Of July. Found a job and currently working in a hotel as Accountant cum Admin while Edward is the Hotel manager. So hard to find work in here unless you know anybody. Sent quite a handful of resume but in the end, did receive quite a few offer such as House Officer in MHS, a contract job in Petronas but not worth it since i have to forked out my own safety passport and a few more. Live have been peaceful but not steady. Still a handful of problem on hand that can't seem to go away. Wish i have a short term memory. Adopted 3 little cute puppies but we did something bad. We throw away our first doggie cos we get another 2 new puppies.

This is Venly, we have her on 11th of July that's why her name is VENLY. Eleven and July combine together. We actually was just traveling in car and saw her behind a newly build housing behind Ed house. This pic taken on 27th of July. Few weeks after we gotten her. She's abit scared of everything and never ever bark. We wonder why. She's quite smart actually.

Aunt Rosie dog gave birth on 18th of July to 6 little puppies. We took a pair of the puppies. Janice took one also. We took home the puppies only after 3 weeks. Still need alot of tending to do and the first nite was very very funny. We put the puppies in the bathroom and they cry if we close the light. I think every hour they will cry out and Edward has to wake up to see them.

24th of August. Finally we put them outside of the house already. For the past one week we put them at the store room or near the entrance. They cry at every hour. I started work on 17th of August and Edward on 11th of August. During this time was abit rushing for us cos Edward car was involve in a fender-bender on 7th of August. We actually went to Mcdonald to use the internet line while on the way back was hit by his friend at the back of the car. Then we have to depend on my mum or his sister to lend us her car. We name our puppies, Caspy for the male. I wanted to named him Caspian after Prince Caspian in Narnia and also after the Caspian sea but we call him Caspy for short. We named the girl Eily after Eighteen of July which is their birthdate.

This is Venly. We actually throw her behind the housing and regretted after only a day. We did went back and look for her but couldn't find her. Few days after we went back again and saw she following a guy.

Valentines Day

This post actually has been in my edit post for more than a year. Never really got the time to update it. Finally today April 23rd 2010 i will update it with what i remember on this particular Valentine's Day.

I remember i have to meet Ed in town. Me with Jess met up wit Ed in Orchard, i think he actually lied to me that he have to work but it's actually he setting up something with the help of his friend Dawn who came up with this surprise.

Met up with him then he say he will bring me to somewhere special. We came to Royal Plaza on Scott where he tell me he have to use the toilet for quite sometime. He tell me to wait for him if he's too long in the toilet, so i did. I waited outside the toilet for like 10 mins. Actually he went and check-in the hotel. I knew something was up. I actually love this hotel and i told him before that i hope to stay in this hotel.

So he brought me to this room which was dark and fill with balloons. I actually hates balloon but he tell me it's Dawn idea and the bed was adorned with Hershey's Kisses choc which was gold and purple color. My fav color cos it's Lakers color.

On the table was a card and also a bouquet of roses with lavender. I love lavender and they manage to find it.

All the wordings and love shape is made from lavender seed. It smell so nice.

I was really scared the balloon gonna burst.. Ed told me he came here early in the morning to blow the balloon up.

I only gave him a card and a frame cos i have no idea what to buy for him.

I went to AMK Hub to wash the pic. I think i wash the pic up to 4 times cos it's not nice and it's using the machine.

After checking out the room, we decided we want to swim but we did not bring any swimming suit. So we went over to Far East Plaza which was in front of the hotel. One of my fav mall cos they have alot of nice store in there. We search for swim suit and i manage to find this Aqua color swim suit and Ed manage to find a shorts.

After that we went back and went to the top floor where the pool is located on top of DFS where they sell all those branded stuff. On our way to there, we saw a couple taking wedding pic also.

After i change to my bikini, i feel very reluctant to swim cos it was very cold and i don't know how to swim. I see that the pool is very deep..

I ask ED to go down the pool then i join in later which i did not. The water was obviously very cold. I did not want to damage my hair cos it takes a very long time to dry.

After the pool thing, we went back to our room and bath. Ed forget to plan for dinner. He plan the whole thing but forget dinner. So we went back to Far East Plaza to find food. He told me there's a Chicken Rice shop which is nice, so we has dinner in there. Our Valentines dinner is chicken rice..

After that we went back to the hotel where Ed ask me to find something in the room, it's my next surprise while he's going to use the toilet. So i find and open up everything and i open the mini bar, which was fill with cupcakes with royal icing with the word 'WILL U MARRY ME'. The cupcakes was made by Dawn and i love cupcake.

I was very very happy and surprise.. The cake was very nice too. It's choc banana.

Ed told me that's not the surprise.. So i try to find it again until i came upon the safebox in the cupboard. He ask me to try 4 number. I try so many number, our birthdate, anniversary and still not correct until the safebox limit is up. Then we have to call the hotel technician to help us fix it... so funny and turn out it's his car plate no.

Inside the safebox was a ring, a diamond ring. Suit my finger so perfectly... So happy.

The next morning, we have a breakfast buffet at the restaurant. So many choices of food. I like it so much...

Sentosa

After Wild Wild Wet and coming home late last nite, we have to wake up early today to go Sentosa since it's a holiday for us and we have no place to go, we decided to come here. We sleep late last nite but we still manage to wake ourself up. Went to Toastbox for breakfast and call up my family back home. Everybody say it was quiet back at home too. This is my first year not celebrating Chinese New Year at home. Hope to be back next year... This year couldn't make it cos just come here and alot of things to settle down.

It's quite far to travel and when we reach there, it was packed with all those construction worker mainly Indian. The queue for ticket was also very very long. It was almost noon that time.

We decided to take the cable car cos it was under one package.

The cruise ship that we saw while taking the cable car. One day must go try.. That day we suppose to have our New Year dinner at a cruise ship but called to that company went unanswered. Looks pretty interesting.

When we reach there, we have to wait for the 1.20pm tour again. We were treated like tourist. This is the waiting place where they sell souvenirs too. Edward took my pic with this lion head then the salesperson inform us, no taking pic in here.

The first place we visited were the Underwater world where we get to touch the stingray and fishes inside the aquarium. We took alot of pic actually, too bad Edward accidentally deleted everything. So left with the camera pic and my cellphone pic only. The place were full of those Bangladesh and Indian workers. Not to disrespect but it was very dirty and overcrowded.

Took this pic because Jess and Edward suggested posting it in STOMP. Edward actually took alot of those pic where those workers did nuisance things at the beach and they crowded the shuttle bus and all that.

We were given 1 hour time at the Underwater World and after that we have to take the tour bus again where we are scheduled to take the 'Log Ride'. We can either choose that one or go see the Dolphin show. The dolphin show is at 3.30pm and 5.30pm. We decided to take see the dolphin instead since the queue are so long.

When we reach there, it was so crowded with people and very hot too. We were lucky as we get to get our way to the front row seat before all the Indians worker started to just short cut through to the front. They even climb the tree to watch again...

They are like 3 or 4 dolphins, i forget already. They look pretty cute but the show just for a shortwhile and after that we can take pic with the dolphin but must pay of course.

After that and getting our pic, we wanted to take the shuttle bus back but it was so many people at there waiting for it. End up, we walk along the beach and i wanted to see the Sentosa Flower 2009 but i did not get to enjoy it. We walk and climb up this stairs for quite sometimes with those workers again crowding every place we went. Edward decided to take us to the top of the Merlion but before that, we have to find a way to get there.

We come across this swan which is so beautiful and makes out of flower petal.

We reach the Merlion and have to pay for entrance fee. Before reaching the top, we come across a few sea serpant and there's a dead end with a door and time. I thought it was some pretty scary surprise and i doesn't want to go in and it was just a cartoon documentary showing how Singapore chance upon it's name. Silly me...

After the Merlion, we went to try the Luge. Which is very fun. I thought it was hard at first but it was fun and Edward pic was so funny when they capture it. He look like a little boy. The Luge ended at the bottom and we take the Skyride back on top, which for me is very scary cos i'm afraid of heights.

It was almost dark already and the last attraction we went is back at the 'Log Ride'. It was pretty fun but the screen look kinda fake. We didn't get to try the 4D cinema. We will come back other time to try it again.

Back to Harbour Front and we took another cable car to the Jewel Box again. In my mind, when i read that in a magazine before, i thought it was really beautiful. I was pretty dissapointed cos it was totally nothing in there just that it's at the hill side.

We were rushing back cos we got appointment to view a house again.. By the time we reach there, it was 10 something and i was surprise that somebody actually let us view house on the first day of Chinese New Year. We walk up and down the street before finding it. So silly, it was just right in front of where we staying now.

2nd day of Chinse New Year. We are going back to the Chinese Garden to the Live Turtle & Tortoise musuem. We promise we be back to feed the turtles...

It was pretty relaxing and it was alot of Indian workers in Chinese Garden also. Thankfully, they did not come and see the turtle.

This time we get to touch and catch the turtle. Edward had alot of poses with the turtle and he accidentally drop one into the water again...

After we finish feeding the terrapines, we move to the bigger turtle and the owner gave us cucumber to feed it. We get to know the owner now.

Pretty scary cos the turtle can snap the cucumber so fast. I actually drop the cucumber the first time trying to feed them, the owner pick it up for me.
Next time, our house will have alot of turtle too.

The owner ask us to be back next week again and he will give us alot of cucumber to feed the turtle again. We bought Turtle Certificate again. After that, we board a bus to the Interchange and it so smell of shit. We end up guessing and laughing who actually shit in the bus. We took bus to Parkway and all the shop are still close. End up eating KFC. Jess and Edward need to work tomorrow again and i have a week off until next week.

I'm so frustrated with Friendster again. I updated the CSS codes and the mp3 codes dissappear. It turn out that Friendster are filtering codes and any amendment or changes will make the codes for song dissappear. Edward ask me to change the font cos it was too small. Now the profile is without song. Hope they fix it soon.
