Anniversary, KK trip, Starting new job, Stress Life

It's been a long and winding post. Was busy and this pending update has been left untouch for two months. Finally found a time to update and hopefully i still can remember much of it.

22nd July, a day before our anniversary. Ed lie to me say want to go town and take things for his sister but actually he bought a flower for me. It was late in the evening and most of the shop is closed so i was abit wondering.
Nice flower, it's the color that i liked, red and white roses but too bad tomorrow we going to KK then the flower i can only enjoy seeing it for tonite.

When we get home, he told me there's another surprise for me and ask me to go look for the present. I search and search but forget where i actually found it. It's from him and Enzo. A big cut-out diamond ring.

The next day, our 2nd anniversary, we woke up early cos we be getting on the 7.30am ferry to Menumbok. Reach town to had breakfast and park the car. Enzo we put him at my house and we did bought a cage to put him inside. Hope he will be ok for this few days. While inside the car in the ferry, he gave me another present wrap in a dog food's box, inside is another diamond ring. Bigger abit and i always wanted a diamond with diamond's surrounding it. I called it 'Diamond on Diamond's'. Like it so much just that it's so big on my finger. Ed told the lady he wanted size 3 but she gave size 12. Then i have to wait when we get back here to go change the size...

After a long drive from Menumbok to KK, finally reach. Had lunch first before putting our luggage down at Ed's sis bo-in-law house. Then after that, the first place to go as plan, to Karamunsing Complex to find tv. Ed had been waiting to buy tv for the house for few months already. I think after spending like few hours in there, found what we looking for but will only buy it on the day we getting back to Labuan.
Later at nite, Ed sis bro-in-law bought us to City Mall. I been here before but forget the way to get there. We end up buying ice-cream and sitting on a portable massage chair. Just put in the coin and it massage us...

The next day, Ed and his sis went and pray their dad while i continue sleeping. After they get home, we went and grab breakfast then went to Wisma Merdeka, my fav place to shop. In there, i never get the chance to really shop around cos they rushing to go to Suria again. Just a walk away from Wisma Merdeka. In there, we get to buy a lamp and we planning to watch a movie, just too bad not one nice movie to watch. Then Ed sis, plan to go home cos the kids wanted to sleep while me and Ed,, decided to go to OneBorneo. I not really know the way actually, just follow signboard will do.

In there, we went to Kaison and bought so many things inside for the house. So miss Starbucks, finally saw one but the taste totally different from SG. I miss SG Starbucks, the taste more rich.

The next day, we woke up early to go to Gaya Street. Last time, i hate going to there cos it was hot and alot of people and i always complain nothing to see and stay back at the hotel but now it was abit different. I was the one who suggest we go then i can see what to buy.. I end up buying some biscuits and plant.

After Gaya Street, we went home and waited for so long for the kids to get ready. We went to eat Dim Sum for breakfast and we saw Lai Eng also. We came on the same ferry and will be getting back on the same day also. So coincidence. Last time the Dim Sum in this shop used to taste nice but now standard has drop.

After breakfast, we went to Karamunsing to buy Tv as plan. We spend 5 hours in the shop. Imagine that and i was walking in and out of the shop. After buy the 42 inch Plasma TV, we have to get home cos we can't bring the tv in the car, afraid it will get stolen. We plan to put the tv in the car the whole nite, it's actually a risk. Then when at home, it is still very early again, then we borrow Ed sis bro-in-law car. The first place we went is to Guan Yin temple, actually it's her birthday few days ago then it's just nearby around, then we went and pray. I've been here once before, then there's this German Restaurant just a walk away.

After that, we decided to go to Centre Point cos Ed wanted to look for sports shoe. Finally found it then we went to Warisan Square to had dinner. Went to Fish & Co, service was ok but food was not up to standard also. Shopping & shopping and time to head home...

The next day, time to head home. Went and had breakfast around Damai area cos Ed sis wanted to see doctor after that. Then we went to pray Ed's dad before slowly driving up to Menumbok. We stop by at lighting shop to buy 2 wall lights, pet shop around luyang area to buy food and snacks for Enzo. I miss Enzo so much......., then at furniture shop around papar area. I think we stop at around 3 or 4 furniture shop, bought a nice shoe rack. Ed regretted not buying the tv rack but we wouldn't want to risk by turning back and buying it. Stop around don't know where to buy rambutan.

Then reach Labuan at around 6.30pm. The first thing, pick-up Enzo. He miss us so much.

30th of July, Kelsie's celebrated her birthday. Suppose to be tomorrow but they are going to KL early morning then they do it a day earlier.

The next day, we went to a pet shop in FP. Ed decided to buy a rabbit. Not my idea. So, bought it at RM80 including food and drinking bottle, all over hundred plus. I decided to name the little bunny "Disney".
He will be the new friend for Enzo.

Enter the month of August. 3rd of August, is my last day working in the hotel. A great great experience. I really enjoy working in this company and will surely miss this job alot.

The next day, the HR manager from KK courier down the vacancy poster ask me to stick near the outlet. We are still lack of worker. Then my retail manager (RM) ask me to see the progress of the outlet.

Still under renovation and they want to open by end of this month.

I decided to straighten my hair the next day. Been planning for so long cos my hair very dry and frizzy. It will be more manageable i think after straightening. The hair dresser suggest i take the expensive package rather then the cheap one, afraid my hair will burn during the process due to my dry hair. I think it's still the same result, whether it's expensive or cheap.

Then this coming Saturday, Janice decided to do picnic for her birthday near the Sea Sports Complex. I bought her a Disney perfume, the casing very nice. Only her close friends are invited and we were there late as usual. I did take pic but couldn't find it in any folder that i save.

Monday the 9th. Bring Enzo and the rabbit to play outside..

Enzo jealous of the bunny...11th of August, today woke up early cos have to meet up with Charles the Assistant Properties Manager. Called me up few days ago and never tell me anything, just ask to meet up with him. Woke up early then he keep postponed the time until 11 something then from FP we took cab to Jabatan Kesihatan near the old hospital. Nothing important just hear some briefing by the person in-charge regarding rules & regulations of products and all that. After that, I'm free to go..

13th of August, I'm helping my Retail Manager interviewing people in Beta. Meeting her at 8am and i woke up extra early as i don't want to be late. We are suppose to be meeting around 9 to 10 peoples. She be interviewing them in the room while i assist them with filing up the form and arranging the session and after the interview done, they have a sample Sweet Lemon Bath & Shower Gel to take home. I don't have that when i was being interview??? One of the person that i was surprise to meet was my ex co-worker back in the hotel, Vivian. She came with another lady unexpected.
Interview was done around noon time. The last girl was late and we have to wait & wait. The RM was not patient and not in the good mood already. We went and had lunch and i bring her around town to walk around as her flight back to KK was at nite. She wanted to search for some kind of liquor and we went to almost every duty free shop. My leg were damn tired.

Later at nite, went to Golden Cafe and Blue Wave with Alex and his cousin. Few days again before i start work then no time to enjoy already.

The next day, i went to search some formal clothes for training. I don't have much formal clothes cos all my previous job, i'm allowed to wear semi-formal. Bought a pair of pants, 3 blouses and a pair of black shoes. The HR manager inform me that only black shoe with 1 inch heels are allowed. So hard to find cos if i found one i like, they don't have my size. I have to dye my hair black again. The RM told me that my hair is too bright, later people will complain me. I got no time to go to the salon already then i just bought the dye from the store since i have to go KK tomorrow. Later at nite, we went to Golden Cafe & Blue Wave again but have to leave early cos i have to get back home to dye my hair again.

Today 15th of August, flying to KK this afternoon. I'm meeting Emilia the product advisor in the airport. I haven't met her before and she will be my room mates for the next 1 week.
After reaching in KK, took a cab to the hotel, we be staying in Capital Hotel. Just opposite Wisma Merdeka where the training will be held. Left the luggage and i walk over to Suria to meet up with Aunt Geraldine. Then we went to Damai area for tea break and it rain so heavily. Went to her house then to Kolombong area for dinner then back to hotel to take and early sleep. Emilia the PA was really funny cos she called me up while i was having dinner to ask me come back early to accompany her to buy dinner.

16th of August, the first day of training. Training will start at 10am and i was there earlier 15 mins. Meet Samantha, Shop manager of Giant Sandakan, Macy, Shop Manager of Kuhara Tawau outside the training room and they wore casual clothes. Only Labuan team wore formal and we were so surprise. End up they are the one not being informed.
First day training, we learn FIT and also introduction of each other and watching lots and lots of video. In there i met, Irene my assistant, Anne from City Mall, she's the assistant shop manager but she's already resigned but they still insist she come for the training and Rujilin, Supervisor from One Borneo. Luckily they are breakfast and tea-break.
Training ended at 5.30pm, then i wanted to meet up with Aunt Geraldine to pass her the curtain to ask her to help me carry back to Labuan but she seems reluctant, so i'm meeting Tracy for dinner in Suria.

Dinner in Secret Recipe.. I ordered some sort of Dory fish. 2nd day of training, we will learn Skin Care. Everything about the skin, layers of the skin and what types of skin. After training, we will be heading to the store for shop training. Me, Irene and Macy are allocated to Centre Point. Luckily Irene has a car, then she drive us there. My legs are so tired and basically we do nothing in there, just watching them served people and we have to wear full make-up in the store. For Autumn trend, it's smoky eyes. So yeah, i have to draw my eyes with the kajal for that effect, luckily Macy is there to help me. After the shop training, Me, Macy, Samantha and one of Samantha friend went to Upperstar.

3rd day of training, Hair and Body. After training to the shop again... So tired....

4th day of training. 'PIC' meaning person in-charge. Emilia suppose to be at the store today since she's not the PIC but she took MC. After training, I went and buy curtain to passed to Irene and ask her to help me take back to Labuan since she's driving back. Then we went to Warisan Square for massage. Me, Irene and Macy opts for full body massage while Samantha says she have a drinks while waiting for us. Massage was so relaxing.
After 1 hours plus of massage, we went to Centre Point for some shopping.
After that, we went to Sushi King for dinner. I was so hungry already and Japanese food from before was not my favourite.

5th of training, MAKE-UP. We will learn all about make-up. Today our last day training in here. Actually the training should be done in about 3 weeks time but for ours, it's intensive training. We just go through everything

Her make-up by me. She wanted light colors to suit her clothing. So i chose green and gold. I thought she look natural but the Make-up manager says mine is one of the bottom make-up as my colors don't blend well and no wow factor. We purposely do our make-up lighter cos later we have to go shop training again.

My make-up by Samantha. Pink and purple, my first thought was bird. As all of us, don't have much experience drawing eye-liner, then we keep on re-draw until it's thick. I don't have thick and deep eye lids, so i can't handle alot of colors. Smoky eyes tend to suit me more.

Today, our last day of training and also we have to be at shop the whole day. We suppose to be at shop at 9.30am for the briefing and make-up but somebody inform us that we go to the office at 9 and the driver will send all of us to the outlet. So we went to the office and the HR manager inform us this and that and pass us things and keys then we reach Center Point at about 10am. So the RM was there and asked us how come we are late and thought that Sally did offered us a ride to here. I thought it was like only small matter since we are on training but the RM didn't think so. She thought we purposely late for the briefing and double confirm with the HR manager whether it's true or not we were waiting at the office.
Breaks are done accordingly, so no more Me, Irene & Macy going to dinner and toilet together. So, for lunch break, i went with Sally then Macy requested 3 of us going for dinner break again. We went and eat McDonald for dinner, so many people and the queue was so long. In the shop, we basically do nothing in there, walk here and there and watching them served customer.

The next day, will be going back Labuan later in the evening can't wait. Today have the whole day by myself. Woke up early to go shopping alone in Wisma Merdeka then called up Tracy to join me for lunch later. We went to food court and had lunch at there. The next table next to us, made something funny that me and Tracy couldn't stop laughing. It was raining heavily outside then she offered to send me to the airport. Went back to the hotel to packed and check-out and Emilia will be following us only. Reach airport at 2 something then i found out that my flight is delayed until 6pm. I have to wait for like 4 hours??? Spend the whole time in Starbucks and i was so cold, end up i have to buy a shawl at one of the souvenir shop in the airport. Emilia just wanted to sit outside cos she's on fasting. Not only that, i have to carry so many gift baskets but i just check-in them.
Finally reach Labuan and Enzo so happy to see me. He kissed and licked me all over the face. He never act like that before. Time to go home and had a good rest cos tomorrow need to be at shop at 9am to set up the rack and do some merchandising.

23rd August, time to clean, sweep, wipe, set up the racks and put up all the posters. The RM, training manager and the SM from One Borneo is here to help to set up the store. We have to be ready in 2 days time for the opening. The RM told us we will be here from 9am to 9pm. So tired cos no rest since last week.

24th August, merchandising and final touch-up for opening. Drama drama drama. The RM told us earlier that today maybe we will get to go home early to rest cos tomorrow is opening then my assistant Irene hubby and kid were waiting outside since it's already 9.15pm. So she requested to go home since the RM told us we will be at the shop from 9am to 9pm only. Then the RM look as if she's not too happy that she requested to go home since her kid have yet to eat.

25th August, opening of shop. During briefing, the RM specifically told us we cannot requested to go home earlier cos our working time is 9am to 10pm and this 2 days she have let us go earlier. Then Irene objected her and told her something from her interview, my RM was really not happy. I was not happy too cos i was very tired. I asked when is my offday since coming back to Labuan but nobody given me the answer and the RM say she wanted the closing to be at 10pm. In Labuan, closing at 10pm??? Here is not a big city. People stop coming to FP at 8pm.
So many people for the opening cos it was near Hari Raya. Then we closed at around 9.40pm not because we wanted to closed but because FP closed the lights at that time. Finally i know when is my offday... Guess when? Today! I was like, you guys should have told me earlier, then my RM say i can take tomorrow as my offday. Emilia the PA is working until this Saturday only. She tender her resignation during training time.

For this coming 2 weeks have been really tough on me. I was really tired and exhausted. I fell sick during the first week of September. Went and see 2 doctors. Doctor no.1 gave me all the normal medicine for flu, cough, fever & antibiotics then i was having the side-effect of medicine due to my weak body then after more than 24 hours after eating the medicine i still feel drowsy and sea-sick. Went to work then had to take another day MC. The training manager & the senior manager was not happy that i took mc on that day again. Maybe they thought i purposely do it or what but i'm really sick. Went and see Doctor no.2, say's that maybe i'm allergic to sedatives and also my body too weak. With all the strength that i have, i have to work the next day. The following few days later, something terrible happen. Someone confronted me, someone who is not related to me or working in this company, just someone that i assume that likes to take care of other people business. If they think they are so great that i get this job because of them, well they think wrong. Don't come and tell me all those nonsense. They have no right to talk or say or give advice when they themselves are not working and never have the pressure of working. But due to this also, i found out who is telling the truth and lies. Sometimes, people tell lies or boasting about things they thought they knew so well in fact they know nothing about. Shame on them. If they have nothing more to say or don't know what to say, please don't drag other people down for example don't take my mum name and press me.
Back to work pressure... the schedule for September is officially out and i was wondering with Irene, how come we only get a day off each week while i had to fly for meeting for 2 days during my off day. Simple question right, so we ASK... then it became such a huge problem in office. So nobody explain anything to me so i had to attend the meeting whether i liked it or not then the General Manager did visit our outlet few weeks back. I thought her visit was purely simple but everybody make such a huge fuss. It became i was very rude towards her but i was just recovering from my sickness.
Attending meeting on 13th of September. My flight is around noon then i will reach KK at about 2pm. Had to be at the office to meet with my RM for awhile. Turn out, i was being interrogated by my RM, HR manager and the Operation manager. They ask me so many question like how come so many problem with us, they receive complaints that i refuse to do cleaning, make-over and packing. Well, went i answer all of these question don't take outside personal question to ask me again. I fell that they are really being unprofessional. Just because they are higher ranking than me doesn't mean they can look down on me. No. 1, i only ask how come not 2 off days in a week, the advertisement stated so big 5 WORKING DAYS and No.2, how come i need to come for meeting on my offday. They come out with so many excuse that i really had no heart to work again. It's really pointless to work so hard when your superior had so much prejudice and not understanding. I just want to work to find money and enjoy my life. Nobody find work to find trouble. So, these talking lasted about 3 hours until 6pm. Well, they mention it's my off day but i'm stuck in the meeting room. Had dinner with Tracy at Upperstar. Really no appetite that time. I'm staying at Capital Hotel again and sharing a room with Elaine from Sandakan and Yuki from Tawau.
14th of September, didn't had a good night of sleep last night cos we slept with the Tv and lights on. Then they woke up at around 6 to get ready while the meeting is schedule to start at 8.30am. So at 7.45am, we were waiting outside the office already while all the office worker all haven't come work again. Totally no mood and tired. So meeting started and ended at around 11am then my RM ask me for another round of meeting again which lasted until about 1pm. Then later i had to come back to the office to collect some uniform and stocks for the outlet. Return to the hotel to check-out and went back to the office. Shouldn't have come so early cos my RM asked me to sit down and talk with her then the Operation manager turn again. I'm really tired of all the talking, if they felt threaten by me or don't like me, just terminate me. Don't push my button. But deep inside i have already decided to resign by end of this month. Not because of anybody but for myself. I quit to make myself happy. We cannot make everybody happy or like us. 80% of people will like us and maybe 20% of people will hate us. For those 20% of people that hate us, no matter how good are you or how you pleased them, they will sure find something to hate us back. So why bother about them... then my flight back is around 8pm but my RM ask me to follow the company driver to the airport at 4.30. So to the airport. My precious offdays is spent inside meeting room. So furious...

Back to work like normal the next day. Damn tired... my next offday will be 4 days from now and last night i had to carry so many stuff back here and i over the limit of 20kg for check-in luggage. Lucky the airport guy let me passed through. Really no heart to work already. For all those people that thought they are so correct, they will never find out whether they are or not if they are not kinder to people than they are now.

16th of Sept, after work.. at around 10pm we went to the new temple around Rancha-Rancha. Even though i'm tired from work i still insist i want to come to take away my stress from job.

2 days later, i took mc. On the way to work, i feel very nauseous and dizzy. I think it's because i'm too exhausted from the meeting trip and stress. So, i just put Ed in the temple cos they are bring their temple deities to the new temple. Went home and had a good rest then i called up Janice to accompany me to see doctor. Doctor just prescribed giddiness medicine. After that, went to the new temple to had lunch.

Back to work like usual the next day. My RM coming to the outlet for some stock adjustment and we decided to have our company dinner tonite. Will be so stress for this coming few days. We are allowed to spend RM200 for dinner... it's all of our hardwork. We had dinner at Labuan Deepsea Seafood Restaurant.
