Mid Autum Festival

Celebrated the Mid Autumn Festival also known as Mooncake Festival at Edward sis place last Saturday, 13th of September. The Mid Autumn Festival starts on 31st of August and end on 14th of September.

For thousands of years, the Chinese people have related the vicissitudes of life to changes of the moon as it waxes and wanes; joy and sorrow, parting and reunion. Because the full moon is round and symbolizes reunion, the Mid Autumn Festival is also known as the festival of reunion. All family members try to get together on this special day. Those who can not return home watch the bright moonlight and feel deep longing for their loved ones.

There is this story about the moon-cake. China was ruled by the Mongolian people. Leaders from the preceding Sung dynasty were unhappy at submitting to the foreign rule, and set how to coordinate the rebellion without being discovered. The leaders of the rebellion, knowing that the Moon Festival was drawing near, ordered the making of special cakes. Backed into each moon caked was a message with the outline of the attack. On the night of the Moon Festival, the rebels successfully attached and overthrew the government. Today, moon cakes are eaten to commemorate this legend and was called the Moon Cake.

Dinner's ready.. I'm not really into process food. Process food transform raw ingredients into food or to transform food into other forms for consumption by humans or animals. Process food has low quality of nutrition. Processed foods tend to include food additives, such as flavourings and texture enhancing agents, which may have little or no nutritive value or be unhealthy.

After dinner, chill out in the living room.. before going to my mum place to fix the television, the toilet door...

Few days ago, receive Edward birthday present from United Kingdom. It took so long to arrive that i basically thought it will not arrive anymore. Bought a month ago before Edward birthday on 28th of May. Date posted by the sender is 12th of June and Edward birthday is on 29th of June. It took almost 3 months to arrive. Called up the pos office several times and they just inform me that the item will not arrive as it is consider dangerous goods. The seller ship out the items using sea cos the items is not allowed by air. It was a total surprise when i know the item is here. I did bought another present for him which is a funny looking purple sheep.I bought a custom made engraved lighter of his face on it. I thought it was really special. He's into lighter. It cost a lot.

14th of September which is Sunday. Boring weekends.... Edward wanted to play with lantern again. I chase him around cos i refuse to let him take my pic.

At nite, getting ready to go my mum place. Before going, play with my cellphone first. Wanted to send some CD's for her. Still got time for some fast and easy shot. After come back, mum already sleep so wasted our time going her place. Started packing again... This time to decide what to bring and what's not. Still got time to play and take pic. Reading the terms and condition. After packing halfway then i realise about the weight. Decided to find out what the maximum weight we are allow to carry. All this while, i thought we are allow 90kg but then we found out only 45kg. Which basically, each person is allow to carry only 15kg.

Taken during the weekends. Boring weekends then we decided to go temple to pray. This suppose to be the front view.

This is another temple we went on that day. It's still incomplete but it look magnificient with all the gold interior. This is the place where they will place the deities.

Later in the week, Jess learn driving. She try couple of times before. Still haven't got license yet.

Dinner in New Sung Hwa Seafood Restaurant on 05th of September. Edward friend Adrian invited us for dinner. Getting ready..While waiting for food.

Dinner was great. Had seafood and i forget how many dishes we had.

He's playing with his food. Must be eat too full...After dinner, go ride and walk around. Later in the nite....

06th of September. In Island Restaurant. Something happen, quite funny and stupid at the same time....

7th of September. Eating Rojak outside of Melvin's house. Me and Edward walk around the neighbourhood as if we are staying there.

8th of September. Edward gotten a box of mooncake and lantern from his employer. Taken outside of the house. Sitting by the roadside playing lantern. Lighting up the lantern. He's so into it.

9th of September. Taken before going to pick up Jess to go dinner.

11th of September. Me and Edward took lazy leave. We so lazy to go work basically we took leave to chill out and relax. Went to Aunt Rosie place to borrow needle. She had this puppy which is so cute. Edward took all this puppy pic but this is the funniest of all. Just look at the pup's face.
